Dear students,
It is COMPULSORY for all postgraduate students by research to submit the Progress Report for every semester. Progress report for this semester can be submitted from FEBRUARY 03, 2025 (MONDAY) to FEBRUARY 07, 2025 (FRIDAY). The Progress Report system will be opened during this period only.
To do the submission, kindly log in to the:
Student e-community > Postgraduate Student > Progress Report > Submission
For students who do not submit the Progress Report within the allocated time, the UNSATISFACTORY / FAIL (TM) status will be given as stated in Article 12 Evaluation (12.9) of ‘Academic Regulations for Graduate Studies’.
Note:
For newly registered students (Semester 1), you are required to complete your Research Plan (submitted by the student and must be approved by the main supervisor) before proceeding with submitting the progress report. Please complete the Research Plan before the week of Progress Report submission starts.
To check your Research Plan status, kindly log in to the:
Student e-community > Postgraduate Student > Research Plan.
Based on the approval in MPSU No.5/2016 dated 18/07/2016, students who have submitted the Thesis to IPS and (1) waiting for VIVA, (2) completed VIVA, (3) waiting for the hardbound submission, or (4) waiting for the UMP Senate approval are EXEMPTED from submitting the Progress Report.
